My thoughts – Another brilliant book from K. J. McGillick, this is one of the reason I love doing blog tours. I get to read books from such a wide range of authors and K. J. McGillick is now one author, that I will read anything she writes.
This book starts with a new recruit to the established team, Poppy. Poppy helps with the case of Dr Gabriel Blackwell, a decidedly unpleasant man who finds himself caught in two legal cases. First his lover, is found murdered and then his wife is found floating in their pool. Dahlia although repulsed by the man represents him in both cases along with the team.
It was great to be back with the team, I love Mary, again they find themselves in a difficult position with a client they aren’t convinced is innocent. A well written book, the story moves at pace and I can’t wait for the next one.
