I am always happy to read a book written by K.J McGillick. I have read and reviewed a number of her books:
This is the first in a new series by K. J. McGillick, which follows Kate O’Brien.
Trying to start her life over Kate is grateful when Bill Brown helps her career along as an attorney by making her a partner. So when Bill is arrested on numerous accounts Kate believes there has been some massive mistake.
As she gets further drawn into Bill’s life she realises everything she knew about him has been a lie and his lies could land her in big trouble. Unknown to her she has been a silent accomplice all along.
The title is very apt for this book as Bill has woven a web of deceit and Kate as the fly has to try and unstick (not a word I know!) herself.
A great read, and I can’t wait to read the next in the series.
